CHANGE

Many are the synonyms provided in Merriam-Webster's dictionary (online) when researching the word, change: alter, modify, revamp, remake, remodel, redo (to name a few). In the process of living, we continually encounter change or the need for making a change. Some changes can be simple while others more complex. Some changes are easily accepted while others can be more challenging. Regardless of the simplicity or the complexity, the easy or challenging acceptability, change is, in many instances, inevitable.

It is likely that you have encountered individuals (or maybe you are your own example), whether in personal relationships or in a working or business relationship, who are vehemently opposed to change. The mention of change, to these individuals, brings about a resistance that is almost insurmountable. They have become comfortable with and dependent upon things remaining the same and are, therefore, threatened by the possibility of change.

For this reason, there are many whose lives never reach its full potential. Many are those who never fulfill their purpose due to this resistance to change they have built up over the years. Their resistance to change is validated by their acceptance of the falsity that time has escaped them for whatever changes they could have made. They have determined that they are satisfied with status-quo-living, if to rise above it calls for them to experience change.

It is to those individuals that this blog is written.

When you face those occurrences in life when you must facilitate change, as a child of God and a citizen of the Kingdom of Heaven who resides on the colony of Earth, remember:

(As Moses spake unto Joshua - in the presence of all of Israel, who would go with the children of Israel over into the land that God had promised them)

8) It is the Lord Who goes before you; He will [march] with you; [let there be no cowardice or flinching, but] fear not, neither become broken [in spirit - depressed, dismayed, and unnerved with alarm] (Deuteronomy 31:8 Amplified Bible, 1954/1987)
