It's Time!

In prayer and preparation for our recent gathering of Kingdom citizens, I heard these words impressed upon my heart by the Holy Spirit: “It’s Time.”

Those two simple words carry great weight. They resounded, then and now, deep within my spirit — not as a casual statement, but as a declaration and a call to rise. I believe this is Heaven’s trumpet blast sounding to the body of Christ, urging us to awaken from complacency, confusion, and the comfort of routine, and to step fully into the authority and power that already belongs to us in Christ Jesus.

The Call to Rise

As I meditated on what the Spirit was saying, an image came to mind — a scene from one of the Transformer movies. The vehicles had been living quietly among humanity, appearing ordinary, hidden in plain sight. But then came a moment, a call to unite, and in that instant, they began to morph into what they truly were. Metals shifted, gears turned, lights flashed — and what had seemed common was revealed to be extraordinary.

That is exactly what I sense in the spirit for the people of God in this hour. We have existed quietly, often blending into the surroundings of the world, but the call has now gone forth: “It’s Time!” Time to awaken, to transform, to rise into the fullness of who we truly are in Christ.

A Call That Is Not New

This summons from Heaven — though urgent — is not a new one. God has been calling His people to awaken in every generation. From the days of the early Church to now, the Spirit has been whispering and thundering the same plea: Wake up. Stand firm. Be light.

The Apostle Paul’s exhortation in Romans 13:11‑12 (AMP) still carries Heaven’s urgency today:

“Do this, knowing that this is a critical time. It is already the hour for you to awaken from your sleep [of spiritual complacency]; for our salvation is nearer to us now than when we first believed [in Christ]. The night [this present evil age] is almost gone and the day [of Christ’s return] is almost here. So let us fling away the works of darkness and put on the [full] armor of light.”

People of God, the Spirit’s call remains the same — “It’s Time!” Time to wake from the slumber of comfort. Time to step out from under the blanket of convenience. Time to put on the full armor of light and live as sons and daughters of the King.

Laying Aside Every Weight

Hebrews 12:1 (AMP)urges us to “...lay aside every weight and the sin which so easily entangles us...” This call to rise is not just collective — it is personal. The transformation of the Church begins with the transformation of each heart. God is calling us to release the habits, relationships, distractions, and excuses that keep us trapped in spiritual stagnancy.

For too long, the Church has appeared powerless — not because the Holy Spirit lacks power, but because we have lacked hunger. We have been content with Sunday attendance without surrender. We’ve sought moments of inspiration without true transformation. We’ve eased our consciences by saying, “God understands,” instead of allowing Him to change us. At times, we’ve become so comfortable resembling the world that our light barely distinguishes us from darkness.

But the Spirit is saying once again: “It’s Time!” Time to awaken. Time to shake off apathy. Time to go deeper in prayer, study, and obedience. Time to rediscover the power of holiness and the joy of true fellowship with God.

A Call to Return and to Turn

This declaration reminded me of 2 Chronicles 7:14 (KJV):

“if My people, which are called by My name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”

Notice the instruction to turn from their wicked ways. Could it be that we have prayed and sought His face, but neglected the turning — the repentance that transforms behavior, desires, and priorities?

The Spirit’s cry now is not one of condemnation but of invitation. Turn, arise, awaken — come up higher. “It’s Time” for the Church to realign with the heart of God, to live with purity, and to carry His glory without mixture.

Individually and Collectively

For one, this word may mean it’s time to forgive. For another, it’s time to obey the instruction you’ve delayed. For someone else, it’s time to release fear, compromise, or old habits.

Whatever your “it” is, make this confession: “It starts with me.”

When each believer responds to this divine summons, transformation in the body of Christ becomes inevitable. The Church will no longer appear powerless, but radiant — alive with Holy Spirit fire, unified, and unmistakably different from the world.

The Hour Is Now

Romans 13:14 (AMP) exhorts us:

“But clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for [nor even think about gratifying] the flesh in regard to its improper desires.”

The time for half‑commitment has ended. The time for hidden living has expired. The time to walk boldly, openly clothed in Christ, is here!

So, hear again the echo of Heaven’s decree: “It’s Time!” Time to transform. Time to emerge. Time to be intentional. Time to pursue God with everything in you. Time to lay aside every weight and rise as the sons and daughters of light the world so desperately needs.
